The Big Lunch, a national community event, which started at the Eden Project in Cornwall, comes to Wilton

Sunday 18th June 11 – 4pm at Wilton Shopping Village.

The Big Lunch is a simple idea from the Eden Project: that as many people as possible across the UK

have lunch with their neighbours annually in a simple act of community, friendship and fun.

The Wilton Community Land Trust will host the Free event which this year will encompass another national event

“The Big Get Together” in memory of Jo Cox MP.

Relax with a Cocktail or a cup of tea in the courtyard and listen to a great selection of live music.

Browse through the artisan stalls whilst the children can join in the fun and games with Wilton Touch Rugby Club

and Salisbury Golf Driving Range in the Play park. There will also be a range of children’s activities.

Bring a picnic or enjoy the food and drinks for sale on site.

This event follows a week of Pop Ups Shops in Wilton 12th – 17th June.

A number of wonderful local makers and sellers are trading across 6 locations in the town.

From Artwork and Arts and Crafts, to Plants, Ironwork and Wiltshire Scrapstore there is still time to plan a visit!

Wilton is recognised for its independent shops something we are keen to build on.

The Community Land Trust works in partnerships with, and is grateful for, the support from Wilton District

Business Chamber, Wilton Town Council and Wiltshire Council.
