The sun shone, the music played and the community came together to celebrate the end of a successful Pop-Up Week in Wilton and enjoy the event at The Shopping Village on Sunday.
Funded by Wiltshire Council and Wilton Town Council and delivered by Wilton Community Land Trust, the week has seen the forging of new friendships, business plans and ideas from community to develop new initiatives in the coming months.
Over 1500 people attended the Great Big Lunch which hosted live music, brought the Pop-Ups across from the town, along with other local community groups to share information about the range of opportunities Wilton has on offer.
There was plenty on offer for all ages, and The Shopping Village were a fantastic host for the day. The community participation and positive feedback from the day has provided the Community Land trust with a wealth of ideas to take forward into the future.
